With the launch of the first five stations in the Circle Line, advertisers are getting more exciting advertising options to reach out to their targeted audience.
Catering to an estimated 55,000 commuters daily, the Circle Line stage 3 was launched on 28th May 2009. A private corporate party was held at Kim Chuan Depot prior to the official opening of SMRT’s Circle Line. Guests were invited for a tour of the new depot and its facilities before hopping on to the brand new trains to party at Bishan Station.
Tapping on the high traffic potential of SMRT interchange stations like Bishan and Serangoon, the Circle Line will provide additional options for advertisers to showcase their campaigns. The additional stations also meant that there is an increase to the pool of ready audience viewing any advertisements within our network!

Tampines, one of the busiest heartland SMRT stations had its concourse walls transformed into a colourful fashion mural. Commuters entering the station cannot miss the colourful Uniqlo campaign.
Uniqlo, the edgy brand that hails from Tokyo had the wall at the concourse area covered with a colourful and vibrant sticker, accentuated by the brand’s use of many different faces. This attracted the curiosity and stares of many commuters as they walked passed. Some even stopped to take a closer look at the advert.
By having advertising presence in both town and heartland SMRT stations, Uniqlo has ensured that Singaporeans are all aware of their arrival. One could feel the positive energy radiating across various busy SMRT stations highlighting “Japan’s number one casual wear brand” to the commuters!

The national players met and signed autographs for their enthusiastic fans at the station. Fans were also given season passes to football matches at the Asian Youth Games much to their delight. The surprise appearance of the four national footballers also caught the attention of the many commuters who grabbed the opportunity to take photos with the players.
