The X Collective (XCO) has been appointed to produce the National Arts Council’s (NAC) A List Singapore after an open tender pitch that took place in August 2016. Continuing to helm the magazine as editorial director is veteran playwright Michael Chiang. A List Singapore is Singapore’s first multi-platform arts and culture guide, which includes comprehensive event listings and must-read articles covering the various arts, culture and lifestyle news and events.
The team launched the revamped printed magazine and website, and pushed out a strategic and vigorous digital content market plan in January 2017 with a burst of digital advertising and promotions to raise awareness of the A List Singapore and Singapore’s arts and cultural scene. The push is to reach Singaporeans and make the arts more relevant and accessible to all in an interactive, engaging and uniquely local way.
Yeoh Phee Suan, Director, Communications and Marketing, NAC said, “A List Singapore enters its third year as a key publication to rally the nation’s love for the arts. In this next phase, A List Singapore returns as a digital-led publication with more thoughtful content to engage everyone, young and old. We are excited to work with XCO to widen the reach and deepen the appreciation for arts with richer and more engaging arts content.”
Elaine Koh, General Manager of XCO Marketing, said “Winning the A List Singapore business, our first major client, is an electrifying experience for our team. This win is solid proof of our multi-channel marketing capabilities, underlined by our creative activation and amplification ideas for the the A List Singapore, through highly visible and effective media assets across OOH, digital and social media platforms.”
